We do our best to make things easy
for you!
We now offer the convenience of placing a quote request online.
All you have to do is click "Get a Quote" in the bar
on the left. Fill out the form and send it to us, and we will
respond with a quote within 24 hours.
We also have the capability of showing you proofs online. Just click "View Your Proof" in the bar on the left and follow the steps.
When viewing your proofs in person, rather than online, there are three basic kinds that we provide. Each proof has its own purpose, giving a value between quality and cost. The first and most basic proof is a digital laser in black and white. This is primarily used to verify copy to insure that all graphics and fonts are present and correct. This proof has the lowest quality, but also the lowest price.

The next proof up the quality level chain is what we call an imposition proof. This proof gives you color somewhat close to the finished piece, but is done at a lower resolution to ensure positioning on the printed sheet and verify the pagination of a multi-page printed document. This is what would be referred to as a digital blueline. Again, what you give up in quality, you make up in affordability. The sky will be blue and the grass green but the shade and clarity is not as accurate as the finished piece will be.
Our highest quality proof is our Epson proof, which we call
a contract proof. We use ICC profiling to match to our presses.
This is what's called a fingerprint of the press. It takes into
account the dot gain and density of the inks and calibrates
each of the 6 colors of the inkjet printer to match as close
as possible to the finished printed project. As you can see,
there are many choices when selecting a proof. When reviewing
your project, be sure to ask your salesperson or CSR which proof
will be right for you.
