Wolfing down lunch

The Wolf (101.9 FM) gave Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing the “Wolf Pack Lunch Attack” on Tuesday, November 11th. The Wolf's extreme team delivered lunch from Buca Di Beppo in Roseville, set it up, complete with checkered tablecloth and served us a delicious Italian Lunch including warm chocolate chip cookies! Yum.

Soft Proofing unveiled (view release)

As part of our ongoing efforts to make short runs projects more affordable with faster turn around times, Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing now offers online soft proofing. This new system allows you to view your proof, request changes, upload new files and even pay for your order all without having to leave home. Just send us your print job as usual. We’ll review the files, then send you a link to your soft proof (an online digital proof) of your job. This proof is perfect for checking layout and formatting, and approving changes such as type corrections and pagination. Since this is just an onscreen proof, it is not going to show you exactly how your colors will print, so in color-critical situations, you will still want to see a printed proof. For many print jobs, however, soft proofs offer a great low cost and time saving alternative to traditional printed proofs. |

Sacramento, CA - For outstanding efforts to reduce waste and protect the environment, Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing, Auburn, CA has been named a winner in the 2007 Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP) sponsored by the California Integrated Waste Management Board – the state’s leading authority on recycling and waste reduction.
Now in its 15th year, the WRAP awards recognizes businesses that develop progressive and creative programs that reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills by cutting the amount of non-hazardous waste they produce and conserving resources. As a group, this year’s WRAP honorees have diverted over 1.8 million tons of materials from local landfills through excellent resource management and recycling and their voluntary waste reduction efforts have saved over $150 million in operating costs.
“Businesses that make the extra effort to put environmentally friendly policies to work deserve our appreciation”, said Board Chair Margo Reid Brown. “Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing has adopted commendable business practices to cut their waste, recycle as much as possible, reuse materials and conserve natural resources. They not only recycle their shop waste materials like paper, cardboard, and plastic and aluminum plates, they recycle all personal waste such as cans, bottles, and paper”.
The California Integrated Waste Management Board oversees, manages, and tracks California's 92 million tons of waste generated each year, with California’s business sector generating about half of the state’s trash. Businesses can have a significant impact on their communities’ waste reduction goals by taking proactive steps to reduce what they throw away. The efforts of Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing, and companies like them, help keep resources and materials out of local landfills and help cities and counties meet state mandates to divert waste.

Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing Celebrates Mascot’s 10th Birthday with a Supersizing (view release)

Auburn, CA - Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing has recognized it’s distinctive rabbit mascot’s 10th birthday by putting him on the road…in a big way. Since his creation (having hopped from the imagination of local artist J. Randall Smith), Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing has shared him with the community. His name, Prince (Prints) Perfect, came from a “Name That Rabbit” contest the company ran, receiving over 300 entries. Cheryl Maki, of Maki Heating & Air, came up with the winning moniker. And, says Merrill Kagan-Weston, owner, “Uptown Signs did a terrific job of reproducing his expertly rendered image and supersizing him on our large delivery truck”.
Auburn Printers & Integrated Marketing’ increasing volume of direct mail business, including high- quality printing and cost-effective mailing services all under one roof, led to the acquisition of the larger truck. We can now “maximize efficiencies in servicing the Sacramento Sectional Mail Facility for all our customer’s mailing needs”, says Brad Weston, owner.
